Black Friday Facebook Ad Examples: 35 Real Ads, Sorted Into the Five You Need

We read 407 Black Friday ads that ran on Facebook and Instagram in 2025. A lot of them were the same ad: a dark background, “up to 50% off” and a line about it ending soon. More than half were still running a week after Cyber Monday. The ones worth copying did one job each, in order: collect sign-ups, sell the offer, close it, then reopen it for Cyber Monday. Here are 35 of them, sorted by that job, with the dates to run yours for Black Friday on November 27, 2026.

Early access ads sell a date, and 2026’s are already running

A sign-up ad has no product to sell. It sells a head start. In 2025 most went live around November 13 and stopped before Black Friday, which is the right shape: once the sale opens there’s nothing left to sign up for. FOREO started collecting emails on October 1, and this year bigger brands moved early too. Eddie Bauer’s sign-up ad has run since October 14 and Bugaboo’s since October 20.

The good ones make the head start concrete. EYL prints both dates in the ad, early-access list on Friday and everyone else on Monday. Noobru pays for the email on the spot with 15% off today, so the ad earns something even if the subscriber never opens the sale email. RideRich skips the landing page and asks people to comment “RRVIP”, and Bugaboo leans on the crowd: “Thousands are already signed up.”

Sale ads that read as a deal show the arithmetic

Fifty percent was the most common number in 2025 Black Friday copy, and 61 of the 139 advertisers who named a discount put “up to” in front of it. Shoppers know what that means. Adobe measured peak Cyber Monday 2025 discounts of 17% to 31% depending on the category, so “up to 50%” reads as one item at half price and the rest at a fraction of that.

The sale ads that read as a real deal showed the math on one product. TYMO prints $69 crossed out, $49, and “save $20”. Stealth Angel takes a backpack from $99.95 to $34.95. A dollar figure on a thing you can see is easier to believe than a percentage ceiling across a whole store.

The other way to make an offer feel bigger is to add something instead of cutting deeper. Ooomay throws in a bag charm and Senzio three gifts, and both put the gifts in the picture. Warbricks and Ohuhu step the reward up with the size of the basket, and Atlas sells BOGO, which reads as getting twice the coffee. Airmoto leads with 10,000 reviews above its discount, because by late November every competitor has a discount too, and the open question is whether the product is any good.

The sale ads we’d copy didn’t look like Black Friday

Search the Ad Library for “black friday” and the creative blurs into one ad: black, a red or gold accent, a giant percentage. The ones that broke the pattern looked like the brand, or like a post.

Four Sigmatic ran its 50% offer in three looks at the same time: a black wall of type, an orange “biggest sale of the year” with its review badges, and a cream version. Hotels.com made its announcement a newspaper front page instead of a sale graphic. Beautiful Earth Boutique wrote its summer Black Friday ad as a leaked memo, and True Classic announced its early sale in a hand-drawn style on cream paper.

Most “last chance” ads were still running a week later

A last-chance ad works because it’s true. Pwnage capped its sale at the first 500 orders and ran the ad for one day. Four Sigmatic’s last-chance ad is a skit about missing the 50% off, and it ran for three days on the sale’s last weekend.

Most deadline ads didn’t end. Of 55 ads from the 2025 season that said “ends tonight”, “final hours”, “last chance” or something like it, 30 ran for more than a week. The Blissy ad below says “ends tonight” next to a countdown clock, and it was still running on October 22, 2026. Someone who sees the same “ends tonight” on Tuesday and again on Saturday learns to ignore your deadlines, so when you build a last-chance ad, set its end date to the deadline it states.

Cyber Monday needs a new ad with a new reason

Cyber Monday ads went up on December 1 last year, mostly as new ads rather than the Black Friday ad with a new date, and ran about a week. The good ones gave Monday its own reason. Cisco’s training store sold a four-hour doorbuster window. Gaia, a streaming subscription, sold 30 days for $1, the usual Cyber Monday shape for anything digital. Woxer’s extension added new colors and ran for exactly one day. UpAiry’s says why the sale was extended, though it then kept running until May.

Build both during Black Friday week and schedule them. Meta says most ads are reviewed within 24 hours, so submit the Cyber Monday ad by Friday and give the extension a one-day end date.

Opting out is rare, and most opt-outs still had a discount

Skipping Black Friday is its own ad, and an uncommon one: the exact phrase “not doing black friday” matched 13 ads in the US Ad Library for the whole 2025 season. Of the 14 advertisers we found running Green Friday or opt-out ads, 8 still named a discount. The Sunglass Fix promoted a blog post about Green Friday, and Taippe pitched its limited runs against fast fashion for 24 hours.

Anything else that says Black Friday or Cyber Monday comes down on December 2. In 2025, 214 of 371 were still running a week after Cyber Monday.
